An exciting trip to Grassington Fire Station was enjoyed by pupils of Wharfedale Montessori Children’s House this week. The trip was organised to support their learning about services in the community. Our pre-school pupils had many questions and enjoyed learning about the equipment, the role and job of a fireman and getting up close to the all important fire-engines. In support of their learning about community services, the children also enjoyed travelling there and back by public transport. We are immensely grateful to Grassington Fire Station for hosting us and making our visit so engaging and informative.
