Wharfedale Montessori Cabin children enjoyed a wonderful production of ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe‘ last week at Leeds Playhouse. It was very heartening to see the children readily engage with the production, having just finished reading C S Lewis’s book earlier this term. They laughed at the funny parts, tensed at the more intense parts and sat enthralled as they watched the story unfold. Some were fascinated by Aslan whilst others found the White Witch utterly compelling with her 17 metres of fur fabric! We think everyone will agree with Jeremy, Principal at Wharfedale Montessori School, who said it was a theatre trip to remember.
