The pre-school children have been learning about the food we eat, as well as baking their own bread, on the Farm to Fork trail at Tescos.

The pre-school children welcomed visitors from Autism Angels, and saw how caring for animals can help with autism.
The primary class visited the quarry at Coldstone Cut as part of their term’s work on rocks and geology.
There were lots of teddy bears running wild at Woodland Explorers this week. Luckily, there were plenty of willing children to keep them well under control (most of them, anyway!).
The pre-school children have been busy baking flapjacks and elderflower bread to try. Our thanks to Anchor Dairy for their kind donation of baking kits for schools.

On 10 June, the primary children travelled by train to Manchester to visit the dinosaur and fossil exhibits at Manchester Museum.
The Cabin children have been learning how to take care of their teeth, with the help of dental hygienists from Diamond Smiles Dental Centre.

The school organised a talk by celebrated American Montessorian, Paul Epstein, given to parents, local practitioners and invited guests.
