Additional opportunities for learning life skills at Wharfedale Montessori can come any time, as Cabin found out last week when one of the proprietors’ cars picked up a puncture.
Henry Best (pictured), a year 5 pupil in Cabin, was first up to help our caretaker with the task of changing the wheel. Henry said that he knew how to change a tyre and he thought he could be of help, “I learned that I have to add copper grease to keep the wheel from getting rusty and to keep it from getting stiff.”
