Cabin children step back in time

The Cabin children stepped back in time on a brilliant day out to Beamish Museum last week. Beamish is an open air living museum offering visitors a tangible experience of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s. Our pupils availed themselves of every opportunity to ask questions and explore this amazing museum with its colliery, trams, printing press and Edwardian style shops. Beamish offered a fertile environment for our Cabin children whose curiosity propelled them through what was in the end quite a long day. Emily, who accompanied the children on this trip, said “It’s such a joy to spend time with these children, and to share in their curiosity”.
