The school closes for the half term break on Friday 23 October, and reopens on Monday 2 November. The baby nursery remains open as usual, and the stay and play messy play session will be running on Friday 30 October.
The pre-school children have been learning about the food we eat, as well as baking their own bread, on the Farm to Fork trail at Tescos.

The Macmillan Coffee Morning, held at school on Wednesday 7 October, raised £280 for the charity. Thanks to all who contributed so generously.

On 10 June, the primary children travelled by train to Manchester to visit the dinosaur and fossil exhibits at Manchester Museum.

The Cabin children have been learning how to take care of their teeth, with the help of dental hygienists from Diamond Smiles Dental Centre.

The pre-school children learnt all about the work of a dental hygienist as part of their term’s project, “All about me”.
The school organised a talk by celebrated American Montessorian, Paul Epstein, given to parents, local practitioners and invited guests.
At the beginning of March, a team of firefighters came to visit the pre-school children to help them learn about keeping safe. The school, of course, has fire alarms, but did you know that, if you don’t, the fire service will come out and fit one free of charge!
The police came to visit the school last week! The children learnt all about keeping safe.
